Merge PDFs

Combine several PDFs into one, in the order you choose.

Loading the tool…

Combine any number of PDFs into one file, in the order you choose. Contracts, scans, receipts, chapters: drop them in, drag them into sequence, and download a single document. Nothing is uploaded; the merge happens in your browser, so it works the same for a two-page letter and a 400-page report.

How it works

  1. Drop your PDFs in, or click to choose them.
  2. Use the Up and Down buttons to set the order.
  3. Click Merge and download. The combined file lands in your downloads folder.

Questions about merge pdfs

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
No fixed limit. Everything happens in your browser's memory, so a few hundred megabytes in total is the practical ceiling, less on a phone.
Do fillable forms survive the merge?
Form fields are flattened: the filled-in values stay visible as printed text, but the fields are no longer editable. Bookmarks do not carry over.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. The page ships with a browser security policy that blocks network requests, so the files cannot leave your device.
